Suryakumar Yadav is expected to join Team India for the Test series against New Zealand.

Virat Kohli hinted at making changes after losing the third Test match against England.

“That’s bound to open, it is a logical and sensible thing to do. You do not want to push individuals where they break, that conversation is important. So, we will have that conversation with the individuals and see where they are physically and who needs to have a game off. You cannot expect guys to play four Tests in a row,” he said.

Suryakumar Yadav is in contention to play in the upcoming Test. However, former India opener Aakash Chopra feels Suryakumar Yadav has no chance to play in the upcoming match.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra said: “Suryakumar Yadav – no, not going to happen. I am a little biased towards him, I like him but you will play him in place of whom? Will you play a sixth batsman?”

“You will not touch anyone who is playing – Rohit, Rahul, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane and Rishabh Pant – all these six are going to play. If this top six remains, there is no place,” he added.

SKY was not a part of the squad and was only included after Shubman Gill was ruled out. He has scored 5326 runs in 77 first-class matches, which includes 14 centuries.
