His brutal assault on the rival bowlers in India’s second match of the Asia Cup 2022 took the total to 192/2 in 20 overs.

The 31-year-old amassed 26-ball 68 with six fours and as many sixes at the Dubai International Stadium.

He scored 26 runs off the last 6 balls bowled by Haroon Arshad. The right-handed batter hit four sixes and took two runs to complete the big over for the Men in Blue.

He now holds the record of scoring the most runs by Indians in the 20th over in T20Is. Yadav surpassed Rohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar and himself in the record list.
