Abhishek Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav led the Indian team to an 8-wicket win over New Zealand in the third T20I and also clinched the series, with two matches remaining. The chase of 154 was completed in 10 overs, with Abhishek and Suryakumar scoring fifties in the winning cause. Abhishek scored an unbeaten 68 runs off 20 balls, with the help of 7 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Suryakumar managed 57 not out in 26 deliveries, packed with 6 fours and 3 sixes.
Earlier, New Zealand were restricted to 153/9, with Jasprit Bumrah taking three wickets. Glenn Phillips was the top scorer for the visiting team, posting 45 runs.
