Suryakumar Yadav could lose his place in the ODI side if he fails to perform in the last ODI against Australia. The right-handed batter has registered two golden ducks in the first two games so far.

He has been batting in Shreyas Iyer’s absence at the No.4 spot. Speaking to Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik suggested Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma to change SKY’s batting order to get the best out of him.

“He would have been dismissed on those two deliveries in T20Is as well. It is not about the ODIs. The team management could promote Hardik Pandya to the No. 4 slot and change Suryakumar Yadav’s batting position. He is very dangerous in the last 14-18 overs. SKY can bat at the No. 6 position,” said Dinesh Karthik.

The Men in Blue won the first game by 5 wickets, while Australia thumped the hosts by 10 wickets in the second.
