Sunrisers Hyderabad strengthened their IPL 2026 lineup by acquiring uncapped Indian all-rounder Shivang Kumar for RS 30 lakh and wicket-keeper batter Salil Arora for (Rs 1.5 crore) at the mini-auction in Abu Dhabi. After the recent retention period, SRH kept their core squad intact, led by captain Pat Cummins, explosive opener Abhishek Sharma, and hard-hitting Travis Head, who remain the backbone of the team.
Cummins’ leadership and pace bowling continue to play a central role in the team’s strategy, while the opening pair of Sharma and Head has been key to SRH’s revival in recent seasons.
