Waqar Younis has come down hard on the former cricketers and fans for calling Virat Kohli an out-of-form player.

Former Pakistan captain and one of the legends of the game, Waqar Younis, has come down hard on the former cricketers and fans for calling Virat Kohli an out-of-form player.

Kohli has been under the scanner for his failures in international cricket, with critics demanding his exclusion from the T20I squad.

However, the management has stuck with him, considering his record for the Men in Blue.

So far, he has represented the sub-continent in 100 T20I games and still looks like a solid player.

“I don’t understand why Virat is being referred to as an out-of-form player by former cricketers and fans. He has an average of 50 in the shortest format of the game and looks hungry for runs. Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers in the world and has a lot to offer,” said Waqar Younis.
