“We want to bowl first as we have been chasing well, so happy to chase it down. I am very confident, and we loved winning against Australia. Injuries have been damaging, but the replacements have done well for us,” Dasun Shanaka said.
England skipper Harry Brook would have bowled first as well had he won the toss.
“We would have bowled as well. We see it as a new competition now. It is time to take on the opposition and put them under pressure. We had a massive series against Sri Lanka, and the boys will take confidence from that. Boys are looking forward to giving their best,” he said.
