“We will bat first as it is a day game, and our combination is the reason behind our decision. Sri Lanka serves us really well, but the last two games gave us a reality check,” Sikandar Raza said.
South Africa skipper Aiden Markram would have batted first as well.
“We would have batted as well, and the wicket looks good. We have chased in the previous matches. We want to continue good things as the real business end of the tournament is about to start,” Aiden Markram said.
