Sourav Ganguly, who is in England at the moment, could return back to India after his brother Snehasish was hospitalized. The secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) felt unwell on Friday evening. According to ANI, he was feeling unwell and was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
“He started feeling uncomfortable on Friday evening and keeping in mind the fact that he had an angioplasty done a while back, it was felt best to get him admitted to the hospital and keep him under observation. Around 1 am he was taken to the Woodlands hospital as he also had a fever. He is doing fine now and there is nothing to worry about,” the source said.
In January this year, Snehasish underwent a successful angioplasty at the Apollo Hospital.
Meanwhile, Sourav is looking forward to the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League 2021, which will be played in the UAE. The President of the BCCI played a key role in convincing the authorities of the UAE to allow the Indian Cricket Board to host the second leg of the tournament.
