Virat Kohli has done well in white-ball cricket in recent times. Although he flopped in the last ODI series against New Zealand, the 34-year-old has been dealing in hundreds otherwise.
He hit the purple patch during the Asia Cup 2022 and scored the most runs in the ICC T20 World Cup.
He hit a century against Bangladesh and converted his starts into big totals in the 50-over games with Sri Lanka.
His next biggest test would be in the upcoming 4-match red-ball series against Australia. Ahead of the games, former India captain Sourav Ganguly has challenged the former India captain.
Sourav wants him to show improvement in Tests too. “He batted well in Bangladesh and against Sri Lanka but will have to improve in Test cricket. India depend on him a lot, and a very important series against Australia is approaching, which I believe will be a close one. Both teams are good and may play the final of the ICC World Test Championship in England,” he told Sports Tak.
