According to Sports Tak, Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah, the BCCI president and secretary, are likely to leave the BCCI by October this year as their three-year is ending.

The three-year term of Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah, the BCCI president, and secretary, will end in September 2022. They can seek another term as per the rules and regulations of the board.

While India have achieved much success in the bilateral series, few setbacks have been for the duo. Sourav and Jay have failed to organize IPL for the women cricketers. Also, the tiff with Virat Kohli has further tarnished the image of the cricket board.

Their other biggest achievement is to bring Rahul Dravid on board first as head of the National Cricket Academy and then as a head coach of the Indian team. Ganguly also played the main role in convincing VVS Laxman to join NCA as head after Dravid left for Team India.
