Overview:
Smriti and Palash have updated their Instagram bio with the 'nazar' emoticon.
Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal have broken their silence after the postponement of their wedding. The star couple was supposed to tie the knot on November 23, but the ceremony was called off after Smriti’s father, Shrinivas, was admitted to the hospital due to heart attack-like symptoms. Even Palash was taken to the medical facility and was later shifted to Mumbai. The manager of the cricketer announced that the wedding was put on hold due to health issues in the family.
Smriti deleted wedding-related posts from social media, though some of the pictures of her with Palash are still visible. Smriti’s father and Palash have been discharged from the hospital, but there is no information on the new wedding date. Meanwhile, Smriti and Palash have updated their Instagram bio with the ‘nazar’ emoticon.

Members of the two families have clarified that the delay is due to the health emergencies.
Jemimah Rodrigues opted out of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) to be with her teammate Smriti. Palash’s mother, Amita, is hopeful of the marriage taking place soon.
In a chat with Hindustan Times, Amita said that her son and Smriti are in pain. She has planned a special welcome for Smriti. “Smriti and Palash are in pain. Palash was dreaming of coming home with his bride, and I even planned a special welcome for her. Everything will be fine, and the wedding will soon take place,” she said.
