Sir Vivian Richards took to Twitter and offered to play for Liverpool in the English Premier League. Richards was one of the hardest hitters of the cricket ball in cricket history.
He dominated bowlers in Test cricket and ODIs, and his attacking batting destroyed many careers. In 121 Tests, he scored 8540 runs at an average of 50.2 with the help of 24 hundreds and 45 half-centuries.
The right-handed batter represented West Indies in 187 ODIs, scoring 6721 runs at an average of 47 and a strike rate of 90.2. Vivian hit 11 hundreds and 45-fifties as well.
He was a part of the West Indies team that dominated international cricket for years. Cricketers from across the globe follow Richards.
Meanwhile, he wants to play alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané. “Hey there @LFC, wondering if you guys have a spot for another deadly striker alongside @MoSalah and Mane,” he wrote.
