Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has lauded Tilak Varma and labeled him as the future of India.
Jadeja recently met the young player in Bangalore and shared a picture with him on social media.
“Chilling with future of India,” he wrote. Tilak was praised for his impressive performances for Mumbai Indians in the India Premier League 2022.
He scored 397 runs from 14 matches. His consistent display earned him a spot in India A squad.
Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja will play a four-match Test series against Australia. He is returning after a long time, having injured his knee during the Asia Cup 2022.
He recently played against Tamil Nadu in a Ranji Trophy match and took 8 wickets.
