Jadeja
The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) conducted a total of 55 doping tests on cricketers in the first five months of 2023, with more than half of them being conducted out of competition.

Ravindra Jadeja is without doubt one of India’s best cricketers and it would not be wrong to say that he has grown as an all-rounder in the last couple of years. The 32-year-old has been out of action due to a dislocated thumb which he had suffered in the third Test against Australia in Sydney, earlier this year.

Jadeja recently returned to training after recovering from the injury at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Jadeja’s Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, recently posted a video of Jaddu training in the nets.

In the last few weeks, Jadeja has shared several videos on social media where is seen training at the NCA and working out at the gym. As he continues to charge his batteries for the upcoming season of the IPL, Jadeja on Saturday took to Twitter and shared a quirky video.

Apart from his love for the sport, Jadeja is also a “wildlife” enthusiast as he loves to spend time in national parks and wildlife reserves. “He just came out to wish me speedy recovery,” Ravindra Jadeja captioned the video.

If Jadeja regains match fitness, his pursuits could extend beyond the IPL when India play the final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand in Southampton in June. The marquee fixture will be followed by 5 Tests against England.

But, for now, all eyes are on Jadeja’s return to the filed when the IPL kick starts on April 9. In the opening match, defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. CSK will play their opening match on April 10 against the Delhi Capitals.
