Day 3 of the ongoing Test match between India and England started with tense moments. The visitors have dominated the proceedings so far. Former India captain Virat Kohli and Jonny Bairstow were involved in a heated argument.
Even on Day 2, Kohli had sledged Bairstow. However, things turned nasty on Day 3 as Kohli was heard saying, “Shut up. Just stand and bat” to Bairstow during the 33rd over which was bowled by the Indian skipper Jasprit Bumrah.
Virat also had a word with England captain Ben Stokes before he gave a friendly punch to Bairstow.
Talking about the match, Bairstow has slammed another half-century in his Test career. Although the visitors lost Stokes, Bairstow was going strong for the Ben Stokes-led team.
