Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja has hailed Shubman Gill for his recent performances in international cricket. He labeled the 23-year-old a mini-Rohit Sharma. Raja said that Shubman will develop aggression with time.

The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 40 in the second ODI against New Zealand. In the first game, he accumulated 208 in Hyderabad.

“He is a good batter and looks like a mini-Rohit Sharma. Gill has enough potential to become one of the best batters. He doesn’t need to change anything as he recently scored a double hundred,” he said.

Ramiz also heaped massive praise on India captain Rohit Sharma, who scored 51 off 50 balls in the second ODI.

India won the game by eight wickets while chasing 108.

“Batting was easy for India as they have a batter like Rohit Sharma. He is an amazing striker of the ball, so a run chase of 108 never looked difficult.”
