Shubman Gill double ODI hundred vs NZ
Gill scored an unbeaten 40 off 53 balls in India's chase of 109 in Raipur on Saturday, January 21.

Shubman Gill scored his second consecutive ODI century as the young gun completed a well-made three-digit score in the opening game against New Zealand. He took 87 balls and smashed 14 fours and 2 sixes.

He had hit a ton in the last game of the previous series against Sri Lanka.

Despite losing Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, the right-handed batter continued to play strokes and amassed his third overall century in the 50-over format.

Gill has become a mainstay of the Men in Blue in a short time and is rated among the best batters in the world.

He shared a 60-run partnership with captain Rohit, who managed 34. Virat (8) and Ishan (5) were unable to impress.

SKY was looking good and added 65 runs with Gill, but the former was undone by Daryl Mitchell after scoring 31 off 26 balls.
