Shubman Gill second IPL hundred

Shubman Gill is on a mission to take Gujarat Titans to their second consecutive IPL title. The run machine has scored 851 runs with one more match to go in the Indian Premier League 2023. He has hit three hundreds and will get the Orange Cap for his efforts.

The right-hand batter was with Kolkata Knight Riders but was not retained for IPL 2022. He played the last season with Gujarat and showed glimpses of his talent.

In the 16th season, he became unstoppable with the bat. Former CSK player Scott Styris has opened up on a blunder comitted by KKR by not retaining Gill.

“His release by KKR will go down as the biggest blinder by a franchise. The second is of KL Rahul by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Gill is young and has a scope of bettering his performances in the upcoming seasons,” Styris told JioCinema.

“He is converting starts into big scores. Earlier, he was getting out after getting a start. Gill has matured in the last two seasons. He has a lot of tim left,” he added.
