Indian team is currently taking on West Indies in the third and final ODI of the series at the Narendra Modi stadium. After India lost Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan with just 42 runs on the board, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer stitched a partnership of more than 100 runs to bail out the team from a tricky situation.
While Pant scored 56, Iyer contributed 80 with the bat. With his 10th 50+ plus score in ODI for India, the right-handed batter joined the list of players with the fewest innings to reach this landmark.
Navjot Singh Sidhu took 20 innings, while Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer took 24.
