Muhammad Huraira, who is the nephew of Shoaib Malik, became Pakistan’s second-youngest batter to score a triple century in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Playing in his debut season, the 19 years and 239 days old was superb during his innings. Huraira is the eighth Pakistan player overall to reach this mark.
This was the 23rd triple ton scored in Pakistan, with Huraira being the 22nd player overall to amass 300 on the soil of the sub-continent country.
The list includes the likes of Mike Brearly, Mark Taylor and Virender Sehwag, who have achieved this record in Pakistan.
His 311 not out from 341 balls included 40 boundaries and four sixes. He touched the 300-run mark at tea on day three of the last round match between Northern against Balochistan.
