may be 35 but Shikhar Dhawan seems to be in a different rhythm as far as his white-ball batting is concerned.

Shikhar Dhawan has decided to give his name for the mega auction instead of joining a team out of the two new IPL franchises. According to The Telegraph, the former Delhi Capitals batter wants to play for a more established team. Also, this would increase his financial package.

Dhawan has not be retained by Delhi Capitals.

He was in superb touch in the last editions of the Indian Premier League and considering his consistency, the left-handed batter is bound to attract a lot of interest from all the franchises including Delhi Capitals.

His performance in the league could open doors of Team India for the veteran, who last played in Sri Lanka.

Dhawan was not considered for the ICC T20 World Cup and also the T20I series against New Zealand.
