Following India’s triumph in the second ODI, Dhawan took to his official Instagram handle and shared a picture with his deputy Bhuvneshwar Kumar and coach Rahul Dravid in which they can be seen enjoying a dine-out.

In the absence of India’s regular skipper Virat Kohli and limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma, the 34-year-old was given the responsibility to lead the national side and he is making the most of the given opportunity.
Speaking of the second ODI at the R. Premadasa Stadium, the Men Blue defeated the hosting side by three wickets. All thanks to Deepak Chahar’s match-winning innings of 69 runs off 82 balls and a fluent fifty from Suryakumar Yadav.
Coming to bat at number 8 position, Chahar played a gritty knock against the Lankans and helped his side to chase down a challenging target of 276 runs.
India and Sri Lanka will next take on each other in the third ODI in Colombo on July 23.
