Star Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan plays ODI cricket for the Indian team. However, he has been removed from Test and T20I teams. Reacting to his absence from two formats, Dhawan said he is not disappointed, adding that it is not his time.
Dhawan sounded satisfied with his contributions in international cricket. Dhawan played his last T20I in July 2021 and his last Test match in September 2018.
“To be honest, I am happy with what I have achieved so far. It is not my time and may be I am not good enough to play these two formats. I gave my best and that’s what matters,” he said.
“I am in a very good office and talks of my ouster don’t bother me anymore,” he added. He recently led India to a 3-0 series win against West Indies.
