Shikhar Dhawan married his girlfriend Sophie Shine on 21 February. The two dated for over a year before deciding to take the next step in their relationship. The couple announced their engagement on 12 January. Dhawan and Sophie were seen together during a match in the Champions Trophy in 2025.
They also made their presence felt at a media conclave, where the former cricketer hinted that he was in a relationship. Their wedding photographs were shared by Yuzvendra Chahal with the caption, “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.”
Shikhar wore a cream-coloured sherwani with floral patterns, while his lady love looked beautiful in a lehenga.
Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan and Sophie’s haldi ceremony was organised on 20 February, with the latter sharing photographs on social media.
Sophie works with Northern Trust Corporation and is the second vice president. The two met in the UAE, where Sophie currently resides.
She completed Marketing and Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology. Sophie also went to Castleroy College in Ireland.
