India skipper Virat Kohli and his men have left for England for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final in Southampton, followed by the five-match Test series against the Joe Root-led side.
The players, support staff and their families all boarded a chartered flight from Mumbai airport on Wednesday night.
The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, was accompanied by his wife Anushka Sharma, and their daughter Vamika. However, while the Bollywood actress was trying to protect her baby from getting clicked, paparazzi somehow managed to get a few glimpses.
Soon after the pictures of baby Vamika went viral on social media platforms, fans slammed the paps for not respecting Virat and Anushka’s privacy.
Here’s see how netizens reacted
It was only a few days back, when the 32-year-old batsman hosted a question and answer session on his official Instagram handle where many fans asked him a plethora of queries related to his personal and professional life.
One such user asked Virat Kohli when he will reveal the face of his daughter.
Replying to the question, the India captain wrote, “We have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.”
India will lock horns with Kane Williamson-led side in the much-anticipated WTC final, starting from June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
