It has been reported that Shakib Al Hasan's mother-in-law has passed away.

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is dealing with tough times at the moment. He had to leave the Test series against New Zealand for personal reasons. While Shakib took part in a three-match ODI series against South Africa, he returned back before the Test series due to health complications of his family members.

It has been reported that Shakib Al Hasan’s mother-in-law has passed away.

According to reports in The Daily Star, his mother-in-law Nargis Begum breathed her last at around 2:40 am on April 8. “She was undergoing treatment for cancer at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka”.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder’s second daughter Errum Hasan, alongside his youngest son Eyzah Al Hasan had to be hospitalized due to Pneumonia.

Even his mother, Shirin Reza, was treated for a heart infection. Shakib performed well for Bangladesh and played a crucial role in his country’s first-ever ODI series win in the Rainbow nation.

He went unsold in the IPL 2022 mega auction. Kolkata Knight Riders did not retain the star player for IPL 2022.
