Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Indian dressing room after the ICC World Cup 2023 final against Australia. Pat Cummins’ team defeated the host nation by 6 wickets, breaking the dream of millions.
Indian players were sad and dejected after the heartbreaking loss. The PM decided to meet the cricketers to console them. He hugged Mohammed Shami and held Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s hands. Mr Modi had a word with head coach Rahul Dravid.



The Prime Minister came to the stadium during the second innings and even handed the coveted trophy to the Australian captain, Pat Cummins.
The Men in Blue scored 240 runs after Cummins invited them to bat first at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
