Trent Boult has hailed Mohammed Siraj for his performances in the ENG vs IND Test series. He said that Siraj used the scrambled seam to perfection in the Test series.
In the Oval Test, Siraj was at his best as he swung the ball both ways, causing problems to the English batters.
“Bowlers are trying to learn about this variation. It has become an effective tool for a lot of bowlers. I thought Siraj used it smartly throughout the series,” he told Hindustan Times.

“The series was fantastic. However, New Zealand is not a great place to watch Test cricket in England. It is on through the night. I only watched Lord’s Test and it was brilliant. Test cricket is followed globally and when there is a close fight between the bat and ball, it is brilliant.”
In 78 Tests, he took 317 wickets for New Zealand. “It is important to learn new things and T20 cricket is a format that is evolving fast.”
