Sarfaraz Khan Test debut
With KL Rahul failing to recover for the Rajkot game, Sarfaraz is expected to be in the playing group.

Sarfaraz Khan and Tanush Kotian were the star performers as Mumbai beat Himachal Pradesh by 3 wickets to win their first-ever Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title.

Sarfaraz scored an unbeaten 36 off 31 balls, while Kotian claimed three wickets as Mumbai lifted the trophy at the Eden Gardens.

Mumbai skipper Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and invited Himachal to bat first. Himachal scored 143/8 in 20 overs.

Chasing 144, Mumbai lost Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane. Yashasvi Jaiswal accumulated 37 runs off 28 balls.

Shreyas Iyer and Sarfaraz Khan stitched a partnership, which was broken when Iyer was caught and bowled by Vaibhav Arora after scoring 34.

Mumbai lost a couple of wickets, but Sarfaraz Khan smashed a six and a boundary in the final two balls of the 19th over to release the pressure.

Mumbai scored 6 runs in the final over to win the title by 3 wickets.
