Sarfaraz Khan better than Virat Kohli Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara
Kaneria said that Sarfaraz is a better player than most Indian cricketers.

Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has slammed Indian selectors for keeping Sarfaraz Khan out of the Test team for the first two Tests against Australia. Kaneria said that Sarfaraz is a better player than most Indian cricketers (Virat, Rohit, and Pujara) at the moment. He felt that ignorance could impact the young batter in a negative way.

“If you don’t play him now, then when? He is the most in-form Indian batter, even if you talk about the current team. He will get broken if you don’t select him,” he said.

Sarfaraz has amassed 556 runs in six first-class games for Mumbai at an average of 92.66, including three centuries in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season.

He accumulated 982 runs in six FC games at an average of 122.75, including four hundred last season.

In the preceding edition, he smashed 928 runs in six FC games at an average of 154.67, including three tons.

“He is scripting record after record, but the selectors are ignoring him despite his magnificent run in domestic cricket. It is not right if you treat him in such a way,” he added.
