The Board of Control for Cricket in India selection committee announced the Test squad for the first two matches of the upcoming four-Test series.

Sarfaraz Khan, who has been unstoppable in Ranji Trophy, was not considered. However, his Mumbai teammate Suryakumar Yadav was included.

Sarfaraz finally reacted to his snub and posted pictures of his statistics on social media.

He is averaging 80.47, which puts him in the league of great Don Bradman.

Former India players Aakash Chopra and Irfan Pathan spoke against the decision. They felt Sarfaraz should have been part of the team, having done well in domestic cricket.
