Team India once again left Sanju Samson out of the Playing XI for the third T20I against West Indies.

Aakash Chopra has heaped massive praise on Sanju Samson for playing an important knock in the second T20I against Ireland.

Samson scored 77 runs off 42 balls as the Men In Blue posted 225/7. However, the hosts lost the game by just 4 runs.

“Sanju batted well. Whenever he gets an opportunity, he shows his class. I have never seen him batting ugly. Samson is in Rohit Sharma’s category. He bats in a free flowing manner and controls the game very well.”

Aakash also talked about Samson’s fan following in Ireland.

“Sanju’s fans are there in Malahide as well because as soon as Hardik Pandya said at the toss that Sanju is playing, we could hear the loud noise.”

The Rajasthan Royals skipper replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was ruled out due to an injury. The Kerala batter, who had scored just 28 runs in three innings as an opener, made the most of the recent chance.
