Overview:
This is not the first time Vikas has given a reply to Manjrekar. When Sanjay took a dig at Virat's strike rate in IPL, Vikas had lambasted him.
Virat Kohli’s brother Vikas is active on social media, and he doesn’t hide his anger when the star batter is targeted by critics. He hit out at Sanjay Manjrekar, who recently spoke about Virat’s decision to retire from Test cricket, saying the former captain decided to stay active in the easiest format instead of working on his shortcomings in red-ball cricket.
Vikas wrote a pointed remark on threads, slamming those who use Virat’s name for publicity. He stated that some individuals are unable to run their households without taking the name of his brother. While there is no confirmation that his comment was directed at Manjrekar, the fans speculated that it could be the case.
“SEEMS LIKE LOGON KI DAAL ROTI NAHI CHALTI. BINA VIRAT KOHLI KA NAAM LIYE HUE (It seems people can’t run their houses without taking Virat Kohli’s name),” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Virat has been in exceptional form in recent times. He played a key role in India’s 2-1 home series win against South Africa. Virat scored 135 and 102 in two consecutive matches, followed by 65 not out to finish the series with 302 runs.
In the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Delhi, he accumulated 131 off 101 balls against Andhra and 77 off 61 balls against Gujarat.
Virat arrived in Vadodara ahead of the opening ODI against New Zealand. He was mobbed by the fans, showing his popularity among supporters.
