Sachin Tendulkar has a different point of view from the cricket experts regarding Ravichandran Ashwin‘s inclusion in the WTC Final against Australia. While leading former cricketers want the management to go with Ravindra Jadeja as a sole spinner, Sachin wants Ashwin and Jaddu to play at the Oval in London.
“The Indian team will be happy while playing at The Oval. The pitch always has something for the spinners. The spinners will come in to play as the game progresses,” he said.
“It doesn’t need to be a turning track, as the spinners can use the bounce to their advantage. They can sometimes use the zip they get off the pitch to disturb the batter. If they can get that drift, they can make the ball talk in the air without the track coming into play. The Oval will be a good venue for the sub-continent team,” noted Tendulkar on his website 100mbsports.
