Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria feels Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid should have helped the team on Day 4 when South Africa scored easily. The visitors suffered a defeat at the hands of the hots in the second Test at the Wanderers.
The Test skipper was not a part of the game due to an injury but was seen on the sidelines observing the proceedings keenly. Kaneria feels both Kohli and Dravid should have sent the instructions from the dressing room.
“Can’t blame KL Rahul for India’s defeat as he was leading for the first time in Test. However, Virat and Dravid should have given their inputs when Indian bowlers could not bowl good line and length, and the South Africa batters were having an easy time at the crease.
