Virat Kohli has developed a weakness outside the off-stump and his recent dismissals have become a cause of concern for the team. Some of the former greats want Virat to follow the example of Sachin Tendulkar (Virat Kohli vs Sachin Tendulkar), who faced the similar issue in his career.

However, the champion cricketer came out of it with a smart move. Sachin stopped playing the balls that were pitched wide of the off-stump. The former skipper scored a double century at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Aakash Chopra, who was a part of that Test match, feels that he doesn’t expect Virat to take Sachin’s approach but the Test skipper can show a little bit more patience to come back to form.

“Sachin had more shots than Virat Kohli and I don’t expect the latter to follow the similar technique to come out of his problems,” said Chopra.

Aakash feels the India skipper doesn’t have to many weaknesses and reckons a bit more application can help Virat to overcome his run drought.
