Former India wicketkeeper-batter Saba Karim feels Virat Kohli can overcome his poor form

Former India wicketkeeper-batter Saba Karim feels Virat Kohli can overcome his poor form by displaying better concentration against deliveries outside the off-stump. He scored 35 and 18 in the first Test against South Africa before being ruled out of the second.

“Bowlers are aware that he is playing strokes on balls outside the off-stump, which is resulting in his downfall. If you ball ten balls outside the stump, he will leave them. However, when you bowl ten balls at the stumps and then pitch one wider, he goes for it. This is where he needs to work on,” he said.

“There is no flaw in his technique, and he can convert those 30s into big ones. He will overcome the bad patch,” he added.
