Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets in the first innings of the Cape Town Test between India and South Africa. However, former fast bowler Ashish Nehra feels that many bowlers are on par with India’s spearhead.
Nehra feels Mohammed Shami has been on song, and despite Bumrah’s latest performance, the senior pro can’t be ignored.
“Bumrah has done well but if you ask me to pick one bowler between Shami and Jasprit, I can’t say Bumrah will get my vote,” Nehra said on Cricbuzz.
“Shami has been sensational, and he can take wickets on any surface. He is no less than Jasprit.
Nehra also took Jofra Archer’s name, who is currently nursing an elbow injury. “Jofra’s skills are second to none. He is also one of gthe best,” he added.
