South Africa hammered Team India by 2-1 in the three-match Test series. Reacting to the defeat, South Africa-born England player Nick Compton mocked poor Virat Kohli and two Indian bowlers.
While India won the first Test by 113 runs, the hosts registered two 7-wicket wins in Johannesburg and Capetown. Compton never had any hope from South Africa but lauded the team after they won against the number one Test side in the world.
He took to Twitter to make fun of the Virat-led team. “Wow, South Africa! Did not have money for that… what a result! Poor Virat #SAvIND,” he wrote.
“Re India – Said it last year. Thakur is not a world test number one top-line bowler, nor is Yadav. I can’t believe they still get picked! Tell me,” he wrote in another tweet.
He was not done with these two Tweets as he wrote the third one.
