One of the reasons behind Virat Kohli’s success as a Test skipper is the team at his disposal.
The squad is one of the best in the history of the Indian cricket and the players have achieved some remarkable success over the years.
The fast bowlers have come a long way and are winning matches for the team. The addition of Mohammed Siraj to the pace battery has added more fire to the unit. He has bowled in the ongoing Test series versus South Africa.
Former India pacer Ashish Nehra feels Siraj has become Virat’s go-to-bowler in a short span of time.
“The way he bowls and his knack of taking wicky has made him an important part of the Indian team. Whenever Virat needs long spells, wickets or bouncers, he calls upon the young bowler. Siraj is Kohli’s go-to-bowler the moment,” said Nehra.
Impressed with Siraj’s performance, Nehra is confident that the 27-year old will get better as playing more matches will give him the experience needed to excel at the top level.
