Chennai Super Kings batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad has opened up about his relationship rumours with a popular Marathi actress, Sayali Sanjeev.
The rumours related to Ruturaj dating a famous actress started doing the rounds on social media platforms after the young player commented on Sayali’s latest post.
Sayali recently took her official Instagram handle and shared some of her beautiful pictures. Reacting to one such photo, Ruturaj wrote, “Woahh.”
The actress was also quick to respond with some heart emojis.
The exchange between the duo was enough for the fans to make all sorts of speculations regarding their relationship.
However, reacting to the speculations, Ruturaj has made it clear that only bowlers can take his wicket and not anyone else.
Posting a cryptic message in Marathi on his recent Instagram story, the 24-year-old said, “Only bowlers can take my wicket, that too clean bowled. Not anyone else. And whoever wanted to understand, have understood”.
On the cricket front, Gaikwad was last seen in action in the now-postponed 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. He was one of the best performers for the MS Dhoni-led side.
Ruturaj played seven matches for CSK in the IPL 2021 and notched up 196 runs at an average of 28 and a strike rate of 128.94 before the tournament was suspended due to rising cases of novel coronavirus.
