Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Chennai Super Kings in their last group stage match to qualify for the playoffs in the Indian Premier League 2024. Bengaluru won six consecutive games to script a memorable comeback in the 17th season of the tournament. The players went wild and partied till 5 am after 27-run victory over the five-time champions.

However, their happiness didn’t last long as Rajasthan Royals thumped them in the Eliminator at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Yash Dayal was RCB’s hero in the contest against Chennai. He bowled the last over of the match and didn’t allow MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja to free their arms.

It was his father who stated that the players partied till 5 AM in the morning.”Yash told his mother that all the players partied hard till 5 AM after win against CSK. He was happy. Yash also said that he didn’t lose his concentration when Dhoni hit him for a six on the first ball of the over. He controlled himself without thinking about the presence of Dhoni at the crease,” Yash’s father Chanderpal Dayal told IANS.

But, the left-arm pacer couldn’t continue his form against Rajasthan.

He conceded 37 runs and went wicketless in three overs. Yash was the most expensive bowler for RCB, conceding at 12.30 per over.
