Rohit Sharma vs South Africa: Rohit Sharma, who has been ruled out of the upcoming Test series, will be available for the ODI leg of the tour. Earlier, there were reports that he could miss the ODI leg as well. The 34-year old player injured his left hamstring while practicing in Mumbai.
According to the report, he will take around three weeks to recover and is likely to travel with the ODI squad. The ODI games start from January 19, with the first game is scheduled to be played at Boland Park. This has been reported by a Twitter handle – @KShriniwasRao.
Rohit was recently appointed Team India’s ODI captain after the national selection committee removed Virat Kohli from his post.
