Indians players are enjoying their time in England. Ahead of the first Test match between India and England on August 4, Rohit Sharma was seen hanging out with Dinesh Karthik and India teammate Shardul Thakur in England. While Shardul is part of the Test squad, Karthik is in England for his commentary assignment.
The Hitman trolled both Shardul and Karthik in his Instagram post. “Sandwiched between two clowns who love to talk,” Rohit captioned the post.
Rohit led India in the recently concluded practice game versus County XI. The likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, and KL Rahul had a decent run in the game.
Rahul slammed a hundred in the first innings and also kept wickets in the absence of Rishabh Pant and Wriddhiman Saha.
Indian players are preparing hard for the upcoming five-match series against Joe Root & Co. Earlier, India lost to New Zealand in the finale of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship.
Also, the Virat Kohli-led team was defeated 1-4 in the Test series on their last tour of England in 2018.
