Rohit Sharma IND vs AUS ODI series
Ajit Agarkar had no doubts that he would continue to show his batting prowess once Rohit Sharma links up with the team

India captain Rohit Sharma was not happy with the performance of bowlers, who allowed Michael Bracewell to go for shots without trying hard.

Chasing 350, the Kiwis were almost out of the game with 131/6 in 28.4 overs. However, Bracewell played one of the best ODI innings, slamming 140 off 78. He hit 12 fours and 10 sixes to take the Kiwis close to Indian total.

Mitchell Santner contributed with a well compiled 57 off 45 but the Black Caps lost the contest by 12 runs.

“When we took their sixth wicket, I thought we had a game in our hands. However, we didn’t execute our plans properly and Bracewell showed his class,” he said.

“Bowling under lights and dew also made things difficult for us. We wanted to put ourselves under a tough situation to see how we respond,” he added.
