Rohit Sharma has started preparations for India’s upcoming ODI series against South Africa. The seasoned batter turned up at the Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy, BKC, as Mumbai took on Himachal in the Ranji Trophy.

Rohit kicked off his morning with a short fitness routine and jogging sessions at the ground, later stoping to watch the ongoing Ranji Trophy contest featuring Shardul Thakur‘s Mumbai and Ankush Bains’ Himachal Pradesh.

Reports suggest Rohit made his way to the nets during the lunch interval, watching the Mumbai players go through their drills. He was also spotted catching up with former teammate and current bowling coach, Dhawal Kulkarni.

Sporting a blue T-shirt and grey trousers, Rohit looked fit and fresh as he joined a light training session. The Men in Blue will take on South Africa in three ODIs scheduled between November 30 and December 6. Notably, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won’t feature in the India A fixtures.
