India will look to seal a third consecutive T20I series win under Rohit Sharma's captaincy.

India captain Rohit Sharma is concerned about the growing injury list. KL Rahul, Deepak Chahar, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Washington Sundar have been ruled out of the home series against Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have recently returned from the long injury layoff.

Speaking on the eve of the first T20I, the skipper said the team management is trying to be careful about the workload management of the players.

“I am sure of the roadmap but managing the worload and injury issues will be a key. We have seen a lot of injuries in the recent time sand we have to be careful with the players. We have to rotate them smartly and give them a break. We are trying to manage that and we are trying to implement a roadmap on how we move forward.”

Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested for the T20Is against the visiting Lankan team.
