Rohit Sharma is scoring runs at a brisk pace in T20Is. After his failure against Pakistan and New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup, Rohit has worked on shortcomings. The right-handed batter and the current captain of India in T20Is was on fire in the second match of the series against New Zealand.

He scored an impressive fifty and his partnership of more than 130 runs with KL Rahul took India to an easy win. Rohit hit five sixes in his innings and surpassed Chris Gayle’s record of hitting 5 or more sixes most times in the shortest format of the game. Rohit’s 5 sixes in the second match took his tally to 11 while the Universe Boss registered this feat on 10 occasions.
