Rishabh Pant has been given rest for the third and final T20I against the West Indies scheduled at the Eden Gardens.

He will also miss the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka beginning on February 24 in Lucknow, followed by two more at Dharamsala on February 26 and 27.

The 24-year old has been given a bio-bubble break and will join the team for the two-match Test series.

In the absence of KL Rahul for the ongoing T20 series against the West Indies, Rishabh, who was Rohit’s deputy, scored an unbeaten half-century in the team’s victory in the second game in Kolkata.
